Hi, I am a Game Programming student enrolled at Bournemouth University. I have been interested in computers and technology ever since I was a kid, and have been developing my skills ever since. I've been gaming about as long, starting on the Mega Drive and moving onto PC later on. My favourite genres include: Strategy, RPG and Sandbox.
My first experiences of programming were modifying games or just opening them up to see how they functioned.
I have always enjoyed learning about new technologies and how I can use them to keep adapting my skills with the latest information.
I am a second year Games Programming undergraduate student at Bournemouth University. I am looking for the opportunity to gain experience in a work environment in order to widen and develop my skills further. I achieved a 1st for the first year of university.
This year I am being employed by the university to be a PAL Leader (Peer assisted learning). I was my class’s student rep for the first year of university, in the student senate at college and was an IT prefect and tutor rep in secondary school.
Before I came to University I went to Wyvern Technology College and Barton Peveril Sixth Form College, where I studied Computing, Maths and Electronics at A-Level. I also did Physics for my first year at sixth form and an extended Project in Games Design in my second.
An enthusiastic and motivated individual who has experience in managing events, and projects. Is seeking a future career in software development, and particularly interested in the advancements of artificial intelligence. Is currently studying at Bournemouth University to further goals of working within the industry.
